So...this is my new blog. Now I suppose I must start writing in it. I'm not going to make promises anymore about when or what I will write about. I had said that I would write once a week during the summer. But I just don't know anymore. I'm using this blog as an outlet to just write and express myself. So I won't be writing FOR people, but for myself. Therefore, I will write when I want to.
It's been kind of a crappy week. I've been discouraged about a lot of things this week, ultimately leaving me sick here at the end of the week. No fun! BUT, I do see light at the end of the tunnel. At the beginning of the week I felt like God had abandoned me, and that He was just not present in my life anymore. Whereas now, things have still not gotten better between God and I, but I have faith that they will, and soon. Hopefully Aaron Stern's message at the MILL tonight will help spark something in my life. I have been looking forward to this series for a long time now.
Aside from that, life is going pretty well. I absolutely love my roommates and often wonder what my life would be like right now without them. I can't even imagine. Last night we all sat together on our roof in the pouring rain just having the best of time. And I'm also sooo incredibly happy that I have finally found my place in school where I feel happy. I am taking all Sociology classes this semester, and I love them all! I even enjoy reading the text books for them, which is weird, yes I know. And I am always such a shy person, but this semester I have been speaking up and talking in my classes and participating in the discussions, which says something about me. My favorite class by far is my American Sign Language class. I have learned so much about sign language and feel like it may be a possible first step to something much larger in my life later on.
That is all for today, I am getting my sick self back into bed =(

Sorry your sick. Happy you had a good night on the roof :-) Maybe that has something to do with you getting sick? sounds like a fun time though. Glad your classes are all going well and you enjoy them so much. Get well soon.

Hope you're feeling better, Dani. Gramps has been off line for awhile himself. It's good to see you put the effort into this new blog. I'm sure it will serve you well if you'll use it. We always enjoy visiting you through your blog. I'm sorry you felt God had moved away from you. I hope you've again found Him and reestablished your relationship with Him. Hold fast to the truths of God and learn from Him. Hey that's cool about taking a signing class. Hope you learn it all and will use it as a ministry.
