Cold Tangerines

Okay, Okay...since my mom tagged me I guess I should continue on and write about six unimportant things that make me happy. Here they go, in no particular order.

1. A bookstore. And I mean this all the way around. I love walking into a bookstore and the first immediate smell of all the books just gives me a high right away. I even love the combination of the smell of books and coffee (which most bookstores have a coffee shop in). Having a natural high just from the smell of books on top of a full bookstore just filled with books is so exciting and you can't help but be so incredibly happy in there. I could spend hours in a bookstore, just looking through all the books. And then I usually end up buying at least one or two books, but can't keep up reading them as fast as I buy them, and then when I finish a book instead of just going to my bookshelf and picking another book I haven't read yet (that I had to buy) I feel like I need to go back to the bookstore to get another one, just to have an excuse to go back. I'll even admit this. I told my family a few months back that when I'm driving down the street and see a big Barnes and Noble sign or especially Borders sign, I get happy right then and there. Even the sign to a bookstore makes me happy. Okay, sorry this one is so long, the next 5 won't be. But this I think has to be my favorite unimportant thing that makes me happy.

2. Having a full tank of gas. Even if it costs me $60 to fill up my tank. I always feel so happy and relieved afterward to just know that my gas tank is full and I don't have to worry about it for awhile.

3. Flamin' hot Cheetos in bed late at night while watching Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond. Just the taste of hot cheetos on your tongue anytime makes me happy, mmmm so flavorful.

4. Walking through Target with my mom. Just my mom, and nobody else because then they ruin the experience.

5. Chai latte. Enough said.

6. Guilliano's sandwich on the beach in California. With extra peppercini's.

I can't believe I'm the first to comment on your 5 things. Where is your mother???

Well, Dani, you are definitely my grand daughter!! I feel exactly the same way about a bookstore. I do lean toward B&N more than Borders though. Not sure why, maybe that I have a membership and VISA from there? You think?
