Lady Liberty

I had another team meeting tonight for Nepal. And what a great meeting it was! I love my team and every time we see each other we just grow closer and closer. It is very cool to see how each one of us is different in many ways, and yet we bring something so powerful to the team that will make us so much stronger as a whole.

I found out tonight that I have reached my first deadline financially for the trip! Praise God! But there is still so much further I have to go. I have no doubt that God will provide the next deadline, and the one after that and so on. Thank you all again so much for your generosity. The dates for our trip became official tonight as well. We will be leaving on July 24th late at night, and be coming back August 24th at night. On our way to and from Nepal we have 12 hour layovers in Hong Kong, which our leaders have said is such an exciting town to go and visit during those layovers! I'm very excited, and get more and more excited with each team meeting we have.

I had such a good weekend at home this past weekend. It was good to finally be home and see my family, and puppy of course! I got to hang out with an old friend who I hadn't seen in many many years. And it's always good when I get to hang out with the quads, my best friends from high school. I will be going home again next weekend so that all 4 of us will get to be together again!
